Job Opportunity:

Childcare Assistant - Level 2

Aspire Training Team is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Maybury Montessori as a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice.

Maybury Montessori is a nurturing environment designed to feel like home for children from 6 months to 4 years. Our dedicated team is passionate about giving each child confidence and a love of learning.

Our Montessori setting is a safe space for children to explore and be themselves. We follow the three principles of our caring code:

Which leads to positive qualities like compassion, respect for others, patience, and a love of looking outwards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians.
  • Observe and assess children's development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans.
  • Support children's personal care needs.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming setting.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities.
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Follow the Montessori ethos.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to obtain a clear DBS.
  • Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week, with shifts between 08.00am and 18.00pm.
