Job Description

In this key role as Chief Information Systems Strategist, you will play a vital part in shaping our organisation's IT strategy, delivering high-impact projects, and providing expert technical leadership. Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining a technology vision that aligns with our business objectives, ensuring seamless execution and adoption across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance, and effective use of technology services, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, schedule, quality, risk, and communication plans, and manage project delivery to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams, promoting best practices and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within our organisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale IT projects, with a focus on quality, security, and customer satisfaction.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration tools, Azure Active Directory Administration, and Azure infrastructure.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining Windows servers and clients, server infrastructure, storage systems, and hypervisors.
  • Strong expertise in network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Subnets, and VLANS.
  • Microsoft 365/Azure fundamentals and Associate qualification, or equivalent.
  • Possession of, or working towards, a Microsoft 365/Azure Expert qualification, or equivalent.
