We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our Anaesthesia Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality anaesthetic services to our patients.

• Deliver anaesthetic services to patients undergoing surgery, including obstetric, critical care, and emergency anaesthesia
• Work collaboratively with the Anaesthesia Team to provide a comprehensive anaesthetic service
• Support the development of the Forth Valley Elective Care Centre and contribute to the growth of the Anaesthesia Department
• Participate in on-site out-of-hours and overnight working, including supporting trainees and other members of the Anaesthesia Team
• Contribute to the development of the Anaesthesia Team, including initiatives such as Anaesthesia Associates

• Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (UK) or equivalent
• Registered with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of the anticipated award of a CCT
• Evidence of recent continued academic and professional development
• Excellent communication, listening, and organisational skills
