Job Title: Building and Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Building and Infrastructure Specialist to join our Equans UK team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in managing construction projects, specifically in the building and infrastructure sector.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks. They will also possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues across the business.

As a Building and Infrastructure Specialist at Equans UK, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of project securities, risks, and commercial data. You will also prepare payment applications and final accounts, as well as assist with the development and management of short- and long-term forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and provision of project securities such as PCG's and Bonds with the management of these through the Equans governance process
  • The management of the Equans risk review and monitoring process, compilation of risk matrices and the reporting of these risks to the project team and the Business
  • The compilation and reporting of summary commercial data on the projects to the Business, as well working with the project team to assist with any other reports that the business requires to report on the project
  • Preparation and submission of Equans payment applications to our clients, as well as agreeing any payment disputes and managing the WIP and debt levels on the project
  • Assist with the development and management of short- and long-term forecasts, as well as production of revised Business Forecasts and End of Site reports

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Building and Infrastructure or related field
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB) an asset
