Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of food production, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Production: Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals for our clients, ensuring that all dishes are of the highest quality and meet our company's standards.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Menu Development: Work with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring that they are innovative, delicious, and meet the needs of our clients.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of food and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our staff and clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior culinary role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of food production, menu development, and inventory management, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Education: Relevant culinary qualifications, such as a degree in culinary arts or a professional chef's certification.
