We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join our team at Connect Appointments. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including the safe movement of goods and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift Operation: Safely maneuver forklifts in a busy industrial environment, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.
- Warehouse Management: Safely stack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets, and relocate them as needed.
- Delivery and Receipt: Unload deliveries and relocate goods to their designated storage areas, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect forklift equipment for faults or damages, and report any issues to management.
- Inventory Control: Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Licence: A valid Counterbalance licence is required for this role, with previous experience operating a forklift truck in a warehouse, manufacturing or similar environment.
- Valid Driving Licence: A valid driving licence is also required, as you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift truck.
- Physical Fitness: A good level of fitness is required due to the physical nature of the job.
