Job Description

Job Title: Senior Private Client Solicitor - Head of Department

Location: Brighton, East Sussex (hybrid working)

Salary: £70,000 to £90,000 depending on level of experience

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Senior Private Client Solicitor to join our thriving team as Head of Department. As a key member of our Private Client department, you will be responsible for leading a team of fee earners and support staff, managing a dynamic caseload, and overseeing the growth and development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of fee earners and support staff to deliver high-quality Private Client services
  • Manage a dynamic caseload of Wills, Probate, and Estates work
  • Oversee the growth and development of the Private Client department
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive departmental growth and profitability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 7+ years PQE in Private Client law
  • Proven experience in a team leadership or management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong business development and marketing skills
