About the Role

Premier Group is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and report findings to management.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs for staff to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Maintain HSE records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with management to implement health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar HSE role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Certificate, IOSH, or equivalent in Health & Safety Management.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and accident investigations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health and safety reporting tools.
