About the Role

Senior Technical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Manager to lead our engineering team in the East Midlands area. As a Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, service, and maintenance of fire and security systems in commercial properties, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of engineers in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms in commercial properties.
  2. Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and to high standards.
  3. Conduct site surveys and provide technical support to customers as needed.
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards in all engineering activities.
  5. Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in the installation, service, and maintenance of fire and security systems, with a focus on commercial properties.
  2. Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
  3. Leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of engineers.
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  5. Relevant certifications and qualifications in fire and security systems.
