About the Role

As a Data Science Engineer at Roke, you will be part of a dynamic team that develops mission-critical technical solutions for our National Security customers. Your expertise in data services will enable our customers to make faster, more accurate decisions and keep the nation safe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data-driven solutions using scripting languages like Python.
  • Apply machine learning models and statistical techniques to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics and visualization techniques.
  • Process large datasets using batch or stream processing with Apache Spark or similar technologies.
  • Acquire and fuse data using various techniques.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Cloud platforms (AWS) or implementing cloud-based data science solutions.
  • DataOps knowledge or willingness to learn.
  • Structured or unstructured database experience.
  • Container experience (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Agile ways of working.
  • Software best practices (version control and CI/CD pipelines).
  • Familiarity with Linux.
