About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our dynamic team at Asda Opticians. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and service, working closely with our Dispensing Optician Manager to support our departmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete eye examinations, contact lens, and extended service examinations
  • Work alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support training, coaching, and maintaining departmental standards
  • Deliver a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions
  • Support the development of additional accreditations to enhance skills and services
  • Contribute to the creation of a memorable customer experience
Requirements
  • Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC
  • Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board
  • MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda)
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
  • Able to use clinical skills and passion for the role to deliver a memorable customer experience
