What We're Looking ForTo be successful at Alfred H Knight, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Awareness of the importance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant ISO guidelines.
- Awareness of accreditation maintenance and its positive business impact.
- Ability to demonstrate literacy and numeracy.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Google suite of applications.
- Good level of computer literacy.
- High attention to detail with a desire to complete work to a high standard.
- Confident and articulate communicator.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Ambitious with a positive mindset.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the maintenance of ISO 17025 and 9001 accreditations.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the approved Group Quality, Round Robin, and Proficiency exercise schedule.
- Controlling and administering internal Quality Control materials.
- Maintaining equipment, calibration, and quality records.
- Assisting the Group Quality function in the control of a standardized AHK QMS.
- Validating and verifying in-use and new methods.
- Attending quality-focused meetings and keeping relevant personnel informed.
- Providing administrative support to the Group Quality Function.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A good general education (minimum 4 GCSE's Grades A-C or 9-5 including Maths, Science, and English).
- A basic understanding of Chemistry.
