JELD-WEN, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to work with key stakeholders and assigned business units. This individual will ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team. As a trusted advisor and coach, the HR Business Partner will work with managers to develop HR solutions to people-related business challenges, leveraging other partners in HR where needed.

The ideal candidate will have broad and progressive experience in human resources, with experience in HR site/multi-site leadership and operating collaboratively within a multiple country HR Team. A broad understanding of the technical and functional components of Human Resources, including employment law, employee relations, compliance management, compensation, recruitment, talent management, absence management, organizational planning, leadership development, coaching, training, engagement, and building trust are required.

Responsibilities include ensuring service delivery of fundamental HR processes, supported with the use of metrics, reports, and dashboards. Delivering key HR initiatives, including workforce planning, trade union negotiations, absence management, talent acquisition, benefits, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion plans, and performance management are also key aspects of the role. Providing accurate people data with analysis and recommendations to internal stakeholders, maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance are additional responsibilities. The HR Business Partner will also provide support and management of disciplinary and grievance cases, working with investigating, hearing, and line managers to provide policy support and advice.
