Cybersecurity Intelligence Specialist

As a Senior Open Source Intelligence Analyst at Barclays Bank PLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the firm's information assets. This includes implementing world-class security solutions to meet business needs. You will be part of the CSO's Threat Intelligence Function, collecting, evaluating, and disseminating actionable open source intelligence on cyber, economic crime, and physical threats to the bank.
About the Role
This position is based in our Knutsford office and requires extensive experience of collecting, evaluating, and reporting open source intelligence in surface, deep, and dark web environments. You should have applied knowledge of legal and ethical frameworks relevant to open source intelligence in a business context. Your ability to work collaboratively within a multi-faceted internal/external stakeholder environment is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
You will provide specialist proactive and reactive investigative service in response to physical incidents, cyber security incidents, external fraud insider threats, and criminal conduct. This includes implementation of governance, risk, and controls principles to inform risk assessment and taking accountability in mitigating risk. You will engage with internal stakeholders and provide subject matter knowledge and expertise in investigative techniques across these areas. Additionally, you will contribute to and enhance an effective control environment, ensuring that processes, risks, and controls are applied in a way that achieves a good outcome for the bank and its customers/clients.
