Disrepair Assessment Specialist

Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of residential properties to assess disrepair issues. This role involves writing detailed pathology reports, advising on preventative and remedial works, and providing Section 11 housing disrepair reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be considered for this position, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience in building surveying, particularly in disrepair assessments and expert witness work, is essential. Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety legislation, and construction practices is also required. A valid driving license and willingness to travel to various sites are necessary for this role.
