Clinical Neuro-Rehabilitation Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Physiotherapist with excellent clinical skills to join our team. As a Clinical Neuro-Rehabilitation Specialist, you will manage a complex caseload of patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and traumatic brain injury.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients in various settings, including their homes and clinics
- Provide specialist neurological intervention and act as an autonomous practitioner for junior staff and colleagues
- Manage referrals and triage, undertaking training and evaluation in conjunction with the GMNISDN
- Contribute to team training and identify personal training needs through supervision and appraisal
- Lead training and supervision of student physiotherapists and rehabilitation assistants
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Physiotherapist to work collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team. You will have the opportunity to rotate between neuro-rehabilitation services and integrated stroke rehabilitation services.
Requirements- Physiotherapy degree or equivalent
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Evidence of experience working in the UK healthcare system
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Mentoring experience and postgraduate training in assessment and treatment of patients with neurological diagnoses
