Join Our Team as a Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in assisting the Head of Finance with the completion of monthly and annual accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head of Finance with the preparation of financial statements for a wide range of subsidiaries and the principal group company.
  • Take the lead on the production of draft financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit VAT and other tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of producing statutory accounts or reviewing statutory accounts via audit.
