About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Quality Engineer to join our team at Collins Aerospace. As a key member of our Quality team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Operational Quality, with a focus on supporting fault identification, implementing corrective actions, and driving Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives aimed at elevating the resolution of Product Quality-related issues, fostering a culture of ongoing enhancement.
  • Provide compelling supportive evidence to facilitate the implementation of technical warranty adjudication processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the supplier quality team to ensure a comprehensive investigation of externally sourced items, fostering strong partnerships.
  • Actively contribute to the achievement of business objectives by providing unwavering support to the Quality team and clinic.
  • Play a proactive role in promoting structured problem-solving methodologies, such as Root Cause Analysis, to address issues systematically and prevent recurrence.
  • Utilize industry-standard software packages to drive quality initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the general engineering process.
  • Apply practical background or hands-on experience in applied engineering skills.
