About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our Provider Compliance Assessment Team. As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing care records, identifying potential issues, and following up with relevant information sources to ensure compliance with national regulatory standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow up on requirements and recommendations from external bodies, including CQC, HIW, and CIW.
- Report on compliance with Elysium Healthcare policies.
- Ensure professional, courteous, and responsive communication with internal and external contacts.
- Report serious issues of concern to the Director of Policy and Regulation promptly.
- Work in line with Elysium Healthcare policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and security of data, and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Stay up to date with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar post or Registered Manager or senior hospital/care home clinician.
- Ability to drill down into detail and triangulate with other information to form a view on compliance.
- Understanding of health and social care regulatory frameworks in England and Wales.
- Demonstrable understanding of mental health services, MHA Code of Practice, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and overall Safeguarding.
- Experience in communicating with staff at all levels and meeting with service users/patients/residents.
- Ability to work and stay away from home for up to 3-day visits to sites in England and Wales.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
