About the Job:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team at Teaching Personnel as a Science Teacher. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your expertise.

  • Develop and implement effective Science lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to a high standard, ensuring student engagement and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and share best practices.
  • Attend school events, meetings, and participate in professional development opportunities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4 essential, KS5 desirable).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).
