Job Description: Desktop Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Solutions Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with desktop operating systems, hardware, and software applications, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

As a Desktop Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining desktop computing solutions for our clients. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices, as well as providing technical support and guidance to end-users.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. They will also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain desktop computing solutions for clients
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and best practices

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of desktop operating systems, hardware, and software applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
