Job Description:

As a Head of Building Safety and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our building safety and compliance teams, ensuring that all properties are safe and compliant with regulations.

This is a national role, working on a hybrid basis from home/office/travel. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in senior leadership roles, and knowledge of the Building Safety Act.

The successful candidate will have SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE working for a Housing Association or Local Authority in a senior leadership role, strong communication skills, and qualifications to include CIOB Level 6, RICS, NEBOSH, and experience with high-rise buildings would be highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the Building Safety Team and ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act.
  2. Develop and maintain the national framework of compliance across the Group.
  3. Lead the delivery of strategic plans and reports to the Executive team and Board.
  4. Ensure a zero-tolerance policy to non-conformance is maintained.

Salary:

The salary for this role is £74,000 + CA Total package £84,300.
