We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Child Safety Professional in East Ayrshire. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families across the region.

As a seasoned leader with a passion for child protection, you will be responsible for driving the development and growth of our innovative Restorative Family Group Decision Making Service. You will work closely with our partners in the HSCP and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of families and children.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leadership roles, with a strong background in child protection processes, restorative approaches, and meaningful involvement of children and families. A professional qualification in Social Work, Teaching, or equivalent in Childcare/Social Care or related area is essential, along with accredited counselling qualifications or other relevant qualifications at SCQF level 9 or higher.

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of £35,850 – £41,150, generous annual leave entitlement (40 days inclusive of 9 public holidays), and additional benefits such as a cash back health plan, cycle to work scheme, and option to join a Credit Union.
