We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ocean Export Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Bradford. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the export process for ocean freight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the complete export process for ocean shipments from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and communicate updates to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in logistics or freight forwarding, specifically in ocean exports.
  • Experience of MultiFreight would be advantageous although CargoWise is also acceptable.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers and carriers.
  • Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
