We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Domestic Assistant to join our team at the University of Southampton. As a key member of our Residential Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our student accommodation. Your duties will include cleaning designated areas, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting, as well as some manual handling. You should be flexible, enthusiastic, and enjoy working as part of a diverse team. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential in this customer-focused environment. The post is for 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some weekend working required in the summer. University employees benefit from 20 days annual leave, a contributory pension scheme, and a structured training scheme.
