Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Social Workers and Young Person Advisors, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to young people in care.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes for young people, working closely with key partners such as Police, Health, Education, Probation, Housing, and Adult Social Care.
  • Collaborate with the participation team to design and deliver young person-centered programs, ensuring the voices of young people are at the heart of service design.
  • Provide innovative group supervision and trauma training for all Leaving Care Team staff, prioritizing both staff development and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Qualified and registered social worker with a proven track record of successfully managing a team.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
