Job Title: Band 7 District Nurse Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled District Nurse Team Lead to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of district nurses, providing clinical expertise and guidance to ensure high-quality patient care. The role will involve assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating their effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of district nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Assess patient needs and develop and implement care plans
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to team members
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in research and development opportunities to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
Requirements:
  • 1st level registration as a nurse
  • Experience in nurse leadership and management
  • Ability to assess and deliver high-quality patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
