About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Aspiring Psychologist to join our team in a vibrant primary school setting. This long-term role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience, work closely with children, and collaborate with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Support: Provide individual and group support to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
  • Intervention Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of personalized intervention plans.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create a nurturing environment.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan support strategies.
  • Mental Health Promotion: Promote mental health awareness and positive well-being within the school community.
Requirements
  • A degree in Psychology or a related field (or currently working towards one).
  • A strong passion for working with children in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a school or child-focused environment is desirable.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
