Overview of the Position

This Depot Service Level Manager position requires an experienced professional to oversee the delivery of depot service level targets, aligning with operational performance and budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery while adhering to company compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and distribute regular reports.
  • Evaluate and maintain high-quality collection standards.
  • Control key vehicle controls and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Review operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant company laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate and manage sub-contractor services, ensuring they meet required standards while staying within allocated budgets.
  • Implement a robust pre-brief and de-brief process at all times.
  • Develop contingency plans for routes to minimize disruptions.
  • Work towards improving service quality and reducing costs.
  • Lead the team in maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Prior experience in logistics or distribution industries.
Salary Range:

£45,000 - £65,000 per year, dependent on skills and experience.
