Job Summary

As a key member of the Asymchem Group team, you will be responsible for the development and transfer of chemical processes from research and development (R&D) laboratories to commercial manufacturing facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of chemical engineering principles and experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of safe, sustainable, and robust chemical processes for commercial manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with R&D personnel and other departments to schedule and execute campaign plans.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and versatility in API facilities.
  • Provide input into the development and scale-up of commercial processes.
  • Issue campaign feedback reports and lead post-action reviews for API-sub team participants.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline (engineering or chemistry) with relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles and experience in process development and transfer.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic operating environment with a focus on flawless execution and demonstrated flexibility.
  • Comfortable working as part of a highly competent and self-motivated team.
  • Demonstrated evidence of high performance in a continuous improvement-oriented work environment.
