Project Manager for Production Repairs and Spares

Project Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the Production Repairs and Spares team at Leonardo. As a key member of our Integrated Project Team, you will be responsible for managing production and development repairs, ensuring timely completion and meeting contractual Turn Around Times.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Build Line Repairs, Recalls, and Spares contracts, reporting at Pre Business Project Performance Reviews as required.
- Liaise and report to multiple stakeholders, including BAES, WSPs PMs, and internal business departments.
- Coordinate internal repair estimates with relevant functions for commercial quoting to the customer.
- Generate and present metric reports to the Purchaser at reviews, supporting Quality Reviews with the Customer and WSPs.
- Own the Project Warranty budgets, monitoring expenditures and costs throughout the financial year.
- Serve as the Consortium Point of contact for the Customer and Workshare Partners on all build line repairs.
- Support Workshare Partner reviews, such as the PMG, as appropriate.
- Review Goods Receiving Metrics and provide input to the ED Delivery Guidance documentation.
- Provide cover and support for the Delivery PM, ensuring current forecasting and communication internally and externally.
- Manage Spares Contracts, including presentation at PPRs.
Requirements
- Project management skills, including managing key internal and external stakeholders, creating project plans, and managing these effectively to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Capability of working in multi-discipline teams but also on own initiative.
- Ability to prioritise a large quantity of tasks and assign these effectively.
- Positive attitude, with good interpersonal skills and a focus on people.
Desirable Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent.
- APM Qualified.
- Experience of managing projects in SAP.
- Knowledge of Praetorian products and groups.
- Experience of working with BAES, European Partners.
