We are seeking a skilled General Engineering Project Manager to lead our Projects Engineering team within the Private Networks Division. This role involves driving health, safety, and technical excellence in project delivery, leading to high customer satisfaction.


About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to join our team as a General Engineering Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and motivating the Engineering Team to promote talent retention, personal development, and high engagement.


Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Projects Engineering team within the Private Networks Division.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to ensure sufficient, skilled resources are available.
  • Ensure the Engineering Team operates under the highest standards of health & safety.
  • Drive technical excellence in project delivery, leading to high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance competitiveness and profitability.

Requirements
  • Relevant engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent).
  • Recognized safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and developing a team of people.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Skills and Qualities
  • Strong technical knowledge in the HV & LV Industry.
  • Ability to motivate and engage a team.
  • Strong decision-making and implementation skills.
  • High resilience.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
