Senior Mental Health Nurse - CAMHS PICU

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join our CAMHS PICU team in South East London. As a senior staff nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver positive outcomes for patients and their families through collaborative work with the multidisciplinary team.
  2. Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, taking into account the individual needs and complexities of each patient.
  3. Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for our patients.
  4. Provide education and training to patients, families, and carers to promote recovery and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD)
  • Valid NMC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK (British passport holder or biometric card)
  • Experience within a CAMHS or PICU service
  • Strong team working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care, values, and evidence-based practice
