Pontoon Solutions is seeking a skilled Design Researcher to join our team on a fixed-term contract. As a Design Researcher, you will play a key role in leading our research practice and setting clear strategies to achieve agreed outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth user research to gather insights and uncover user needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Plan, design, and conduct usability tests, interviews, surveys, and other research methods to validate design concepts and solutions.
- Analyse and synthesise research findings to provide actionable insights that inform design decisions and drive improvements.
- Create user personas, user journey maps, and other design artefacts to communicate research findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including designers, product managers, and developers, to ensure research findings are integrated into the design process.
- Advocate for user-centred design principles and promote the importance of research within the organisation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practises in design research, sharing knowledge and driving innovation within the team.
- Demonstrable experience specifically as a UX Researcher, User Researcher, or Design Researcher.
- Proven experience in both Generative (Exploratory) and Evaluative research practises.
- Strong collaboration skills, able to engage stakeholders to make research a team effort.
- Experience in different sectors, preferably including financial services.
