About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the outpatient department, including managing appointments, patient records, and correspondence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals to ensure a high-quality patient experience.
  • Work closely with the clinic administration team to develop a wide knowledge of specialties and promote effective communication.
  • Ensure that all available capacity is fully utilized and that feedback is given on any work allocated daily.

Requirements

  • Grade C's and above in Maths and English or equivalent experience.
  • Varied knowledge of IT skills, including Microsoft Office and patient management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
