Seeking a Child Development and Education Assistant

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the growth and development of young children.

Full Time, Monday-Friday

Estimated Salary: £6.40 per hour, based on national apprentice rates and industry standards in England.

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual who is passionate about child development and education.

You will have a natural ability to engage with children, understand their needs, and provide support and guidance when needed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the daily routine of the nursery, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Support the planning and implementation of educational activities, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Help to maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with our qualified early years team to ensure a seamless and effective service.
  • Develop skills to effectively communicate with young children, their families, and other staff members.
Requirements
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is desirable.
