Job Title: Islamic and Arabic Teacher

We are seeking an exceptional Islamic and Arabic Teacher to join our team at Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR), a vibrant and progressive school offering a premium British-style and Moroccan education to both expatriate and local students in Morocco.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Islamic and Arabic studies, ensuring that students achieve academic excellence and develop a deep understanding of the subject matter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Islamic and Arabic studies to students aged 3-18 years, using a range of teaching methods and resources to engage and motivate learners.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver whole-school initiatives and events.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Islamic and Arabic Language and Literature, with a minimum of two years post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Experience delivering Arabic and Islamic in Moroccan curriculum.
  • Confidence in the use of ICT in teaching.
  • High expectations and aspirations for all students.
  • A commitment to the overall development of young people.
  • An open-minded approach to your work, willing to learn and develop.
  • A demonstrable love for what you do and a proven track record.
