Security Officer

At Charles River, we are committed to delivering exceptional safety assessment services to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at our Safety Assessment site in Tranent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling staff and visitor entry and exit from Charles River, as well as performing building and site foot patrols. They will also be responsible for initiating early response to emergencies, monitoring CCTV feed from multiple facilities, and responding to environmental monitoring system alarms.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a security environment and be able to work routine shift patterns. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with people at all levels. A current driving license is also essential.
