Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify cost savings opportunities on indirect expenditure and implement effective actions to achieve these reductions.
  • Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring all stakeholders are involved and engaged.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key indirect suppliers.
  • Identify potential dual sourcing and new suppliers to enhance our procurement capabilities.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate potential risks in contracts.

Requirements:

  • A Degree (or higher) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Law or similar related field is essential.
  • CIPS level 5 or higher would be advantageous.
  • Experience in indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Skilled in drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and confident in capital expenditure budgeting and approval procedures.
  • Proficient with SAP and Excel.
  • An analytical mindset and strong negotiation skills.
  • Assertive communication skills in both written and verbal.
