About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in all welding activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality and safety of all welding activities, including dimensional inspection and weld assessment.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Complete inspections to ensure materials meet required standards.
  • Produce reports from visits to suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Adhere to health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Requirements:

  • PCN Level 2 PT - Essential.
  • PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation - Essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of welding procedures & processes.
  • Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft software.

Salary Details:

£32 per hour basic / OT rates £57.60 (1.8 midday Saturday and Sunday) plus accommodation allowance.

Shift Pattern:

10 days on, 4 days off / 10 hour shifts (DAYS).

 

Estimated Annual Salary: Approximately £66,720 - £75,600 based on 35-40 hours per week and assuming an average of 45 weeks worked per year.
