About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team as a Domestic Major Loss Adjuster. As a key member of our Technical Claims function, you will be responsible for handling high-value and complex domestic claims, providing a customer-focused and cost-effective service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling household claims from instruction to completion, within agreed financial authority limits.
  • Providing a customer-focused and cost-effective service.
  • Managing claims cradle to grave with an intense focus on customer satisfaction and service.
  • Working closely with customers, colleagues, and external partners to resolve claims efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in dealing with complex home claims, with exposure to losses in excess of £100,000.
  • Qualified to a minimum of Cert CII, with aspirations to progress to Dip CII, with comparative CILA qualifications accepted.
  • Deep knowledge of technical insurance principles, subrogation, underwriting practices, and full ABI report writing.
  • Understanding of building practices and regulations in relation to property reinstatements and tendering processes.
