Job Opportunity at O-I

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at O-I, a leading glass manufacturing company. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and preventative electrical maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Respond to reactive electrical breakdowns on process and service equipment, using your mechanical skills to complete basic tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, utilizing your experience with 3-phase testing and installation, Low Voltage systems, small power, and lighting, as well as fault-finding techniques.

Requirements:

  • Time-served Electrical Engineer qualification (Modern Apprenticeship/City & Guilds or similar).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical principles.
