Taxation Professional

At Tradebe, we are committed to excellence in environmental services and global functions. Our team is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Finance department.

Approximately £70,000 per annum, with potential for performance-related bonuses of up to 15%-20% of salary.

This role offers a challenging and rewarding experience, as you will be responsible for managing the UK corporation tax function in coordination with external consultants. Key responsibilities include building relationships with external UK and Group tax advisory teams, ensuring Transfer Pricing Compliance, and handling HMRC inquiries.

You will take ownership of the relationship with HMRC, assess their enquires, coordinate the process, follow up, and provide regular internal communication on the enquiry status. Additionally, you will lead straightforward UK tax accounting and reporting requirements, conduct tax planning assessments and reporting, and support responses to tax evasion risk across the organisation.

You will also prepare monthly/quarterly submissions for CT preparation, including documentation and review processes, and provide technical tax and project management support on local and global projects. Your expertise will be valuable in reviewing and improving processes around VAT returns and supporting the wider finance and trade team with indirect tax queries.

We seek an individual with an accounting or tax qualification (ACCA/ACA/ICAS/CTA) and experience working in either in-house in a B2B or manufacturing type environment or a substantial UK Tax practice. You should have an interest in systems and indirect taxes, strong written, verbal, and communication skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
