About the Role:

VGC is a reputable construction company based in Solihull, and we are currently seeking a Steel Fabrication Expert to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fabricator to work on a variety of projects, utilizing their skills in steel fabrication and rebar installation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in steel fabrication, including cutting, bending, and shaping steel bars and mesh. They will also be responsible for assembling rebar cages and mats, positioning and securing rebar in concrete forms, and inspecting rebar installations to ensure they meet specifications and codes.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in steel fabrication and rebar installation.
- Strong background in cutting, bending, and shaping steel bars and mesh using cutting and bending tools or machinery.
- Ability to assemble rebar cages and mats, position and secure rebar in concrete forms, and inspect rebar installations to ensure they meet specifications and codes.
