Live-out Housekeeper/Cook Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Live-out Housekeeper/Cook to join our team at a private residence in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the 5-bedroom property, including regular deep cleaning, dusting, and polishing of furniture and fixtures.
  • Cooking: Prepare healthy meals for the family, including weekend cooking for occasional guests, using the on-site vegetable garden and Ottolenghi-style recipes.
  • Pet Care: Feed and walk the two dogs, and be comfortable working around other animals on the property.
Requirements:
  • Own car with a full driving license
  • Physically fit and active to manage the physical demands of the role
  • Confident cook with experience in preparing healthy meals
  • Comfortable working around animals
  • Effective time management and ability to work as a team player
Working Hours and Location:

Full-time position, Thursday to Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday as days off. Flexibility with working days when the Principal is not in residence. Located in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Salary: £40,000.
