Urology Consultant with Prostate Cancer Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team of experienced consultants at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our comprehensive urology service.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will undertake subspecialist outpatient clinics, have oversight of nurse-led diagnostic elements of the cancer pathways, and participate in a weekly programme of departmental educational and clinical governance activities. They will also join a dynamic uro-oncology MDT and have an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate training.
About the RoleThis is an additional post to join two experienced subspecialist existing consultants, providing prostate cancer services. The unit receives referrals from the wider Nottinghamshire area and tertiary referrals from further afield. The successful candidate will be supported by a team of highly experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Robotic Surgical First Assistants.
Requirements- Full GMC registration
- Eligible to be included on the Specialist Register
- CCT or equivalent expected within 6 months of interview date
- Evidence of robotic training
