Assistant Store Manager

As a key member of our store leadership team, the Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor.
Reporting to the Store Manager, this role is responsible for actively directing and managing direct reports, with a focus on growing and developing the selling team to achieve individual and team success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists the Store Manager in the overall management of the store, including strategic planning and goal-setting.
Assumes total store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Leads the sales floor, driving store results through the selling team and promoting a culture of excellence.
Develops and executes short and long-term strategies to drive top-line sales, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Role models, coaches, and develops best-in-class selling behaviors, with a focus on product knowledge and visual merchandising.
Leads and inspires associates to unlock individual potential for extraordinary selling results, with a focus on talent development and succession planning.
Accountable for the development of associates' product knowledge, enabling high-performance selling and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for the talent life cycle of direct reports, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, development, performance management, terminations, and succession planning.
Leads direct reports to maintain merchandise presentation standards while selling, with a focus on visual merchandising and store appearance.

Qualifications:
Previous experience leading leaders and teams preferred
Proven ability to lead a pay-for-performance selling team preferred

Proven ability to effectively delegate, follow up, and communicate with all levels of the organization
Demonstrates ability to manage complex and competing priorities through time management and organizational skills

Schedule flexibility that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and non-business hours
