Audit and Accounts Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our growing Audit and Corporate team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion, managing a team of auditors, and ensuring that all files are technically compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audits from planning to completion for a range of clients
- Manage a team of auditors and provide guidance and support as needed
- Ensure that all files are technically compliant and meet the required standards
- Collaborate with managers and partners to ensure that all assignments are completed in a cost and time-efficient manner
- Supervise and coach junior team members on site
- Control audit and accounts preparation undertaken by junior members of staff
- Liaise with clients and HMRC on work assignments
- Ensure that audit procedures are followed meticulously
- Draft corporation and income tax computations
Requirements:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or part qualified with a minimum of 2 years prior audit experience)
- Statutory audit experience gained in public practice
- Knowledge of ISA and UK GAAP essential
- Accounts compilation skills
- Experience in drafting corporation tax computations
- Excellent client service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in ProAudit desirable
- This role requires frequent travel to client offices so candidates must be willing to travel to other offices.
