About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a prestigious coastal boutique hotel and restaurant in Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining exceptional quality.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate the Kitchen Team: Lead by example and provide guidance to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee Food Production: Ensure all dishes meet the highest culinary standards, balancing quality with profitability.
  • Develop Creative Menus: Design seasonal menus that reflect current trends and delight guests, considering local produce and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain High Standards: Implement and enforce food safety regulations and best practices within the kitchen.
  • Provide Training: Offer expert training in culinary techniques, food safety, and customer service excellence.
  • Optimize Resources: Manage stock levels, minimize waste, and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Sustain Excellence: Support budgeting efforts to balance quality with profitability, continuously evaluating and improving kitchen operations.
