Child Welfare Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to young people in our residential homes.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily routines of the boys, including getting them up, promoting personal hygiene routines, meals, school runs, or activities. You will also assist with room cleans, developing life skills, independence, socialization, and bed-time routines.
The estimated salary for this position is £19,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. A sleep-in allowance of £1,200 per year is also available.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with the issues facing young people in care
- Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level in Health & Social Care or equivalent
